She did her graduation in arts from the KurukshetraUniversity. Being born into a family with an armybackground,
Kangna too wanted to become an armyoffi cer. She did NCC course for three years but could not qualify the test to join the army. After completing her graduation, she moved to Delhi and worked there in a firm for two years. Subsequently, she built her portfolio and started modelling.

Kangna Sharma started her career as a model in 2012.Initially, she did a few print shoots and featured insome TV advertisements. In 2014, she participated inthe Miss Maxim contest and appeared as the 1st runner up of the contest.
